Qualifications

Desirable Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Remote Sensing/GIS from a recognized University/Institute.A year of experience in the application of Remote Sensing / GIS in water resources.

Essential 1st Class M.Sc./M.Tech.Degree in Hydrology/Water Resources/Agriculture Engineering (specializing in Hydrology and Soil and Water Engineering),or M.E. Hydrology & M.Tech. (Civil Engineering) with specialization in hydrology.

Eligibility

Highly experienced internal candidates can get relaxation in age and qualifications.

Candidates should have cleared NET / SET for scientific assistant positions. However the condition of NET is free of matter and Remote Sensing / GIS / Geoinformatics where no body carries out an examination of NET.

Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric level is mandatory.
